Slovak Rough-Haired Pointer

The Slovak Rough-haired Pointer (SRHP) was established by crossing the German Wirehaired Pointer, Weimaraner and Cesky Fousek. The SRHP breed has some Pudelpointer infused genetics as well.  The breed developers desired a hunting breed superior stamina capable of tracking, pointing, and retrieving in water or land.

The breed can produce mixed hunting results due to the fairly recent evolution of the breed. When a SPHP breed does fill the measure of its creation, it is a premier versatile hunting dog with a strong prey drive in the field and a true off switch at home. They are easy-going in the home and will lie restfully at your feet while. They have a beautiful noble appearance and are generally a variation of silver. In the field, they are capable of long ardent hunting requirements maintaining significant stamina capabilities.

They are a very kind loving companion.

SRHPs breeders are difficult to locate and if you really are intent on finding one of these magnificent dogs you may have to import.
